After tomorrow evening’s UEFA Champions League tie with Club Brugge, Celtic will turn their attention back to the domestic scene.

The Hoops welcome Ross County to Parkhead on Saturday afternoon for a 3 p.m. kick-off, which is somewhat of a rarity in Football these days.

The Staggies ran the Bhoys close in Dingwall at the beginning of last month, with Nicolas Kuhn winning it at the death.

Brendan Rodgers and Co. will hope for a much simpler affair this time around, and for the match, the SFA recently confirmed the officials.

Calum Scott will be in the middle, assisted by Gordon Crawford and Craig Ferguson. Greg Aitken is leading VAR, supported by Graham McNeillie.

Celtic know a win on Saturday could see them move six points clear of Aberdeen (depending on their result against Hibs tonight) and 14 ahead of Rangers before they both play on Sunday.

Then, after the weekend is negotiated, the Hoops head to the northeast to take on the Dons for the third time this campaign.

Don Robertson will referee the top-of-the-table clash at Pittodrie. Frank Connor and David Roome are his assistants. Andrew Dallas will be on VAR alongside Graeme Stewart.

As Celtic’s ‘ultramarathon’ rages on, keeping up appearances domestically is a priority. Before a duo of pivotal league matches, though, the Scottish Premiership champions face Club Brugge tomorrow in Europe under the lights.
