New video comes out of the brutal beating of Argentine fans at the Maracaná
The World Cup qualifier match between Brazil and Argentina at the Maracaná stadium was delayed by serious fights that broke out between fans ahead of the Game. The police responded to the fights by charging them with night sticks, which caused even more of a riot. Fans began tearing out the stadium seats and throwing them. In the video, you can see a man lying on the field with a bloody face, as several people came running onto the field to get away from the fighting. The video also shows the faces of several players on both sides, including Lionel Messi, who look concerned and later confirmed their worries for the families in the stands.
