Midweek MACtion keeps rolling on Tuesday with a trio of Games that should be plenty compelling and have real implications as it relates to the conference standings and the title race. The Ohio Bobcats are in desperate need of a win to keep pace in the MAC East division, while the Buffalo Bulls still have an outside shot at qualifying for the title Game as well with a win. Who will prevail in this pivotal showdown? Let’s find out.
Here is my Ohio vs Buffalo Same Game Parlay for Tuesday’s matchup, which will be televised on ESPN2 starting at 7:30 pm ET. Also, be sure to check out our NCAAF predictions for all the big Games this week.
Ohio -7 (-110)
Under 44.5 (-110)
Sieh Bangura to record a touchdown (-160)
Same Game Parlay odds: +493
Ohio Bobcats -7 over Buffalo Bulls (-110)
Midweek MAC resumes this week with a duel between the Ohio Bobcats and Buffalo Bulls. The Bulls started the season with an 0-4 record but they have won 3 out of 5 in conference play, albeit against very poor comPetition. I don’t expect that to continue against a Ohio team that boasts a very stout defensive unit and the better quarterback on the other side of the ball. It’s concerning that Cole Snyder and this Buffalo offense could not create anything through the air against the Toledo Rockets in Week 10. The Bulls have struggled to score in recent weeks, failing to tally more than 24 points since the first week of October, a massive drought for an offense that entered the year with high expectations. The Bulls have scored 14 or less in 3 of their 5 conference Games, and I’m expecting more struggles for the home underdog in this matchup.

Under 44.5 (-110)
This is a game where the defenses hold the clear edge over the opposing offenses. Both teams each yield an average of just 2 touchdowns per game against MAC opponents, giving up less than 19 points per game within conference. Furthermore, Buffalo and Ohio are top 30 nationally in total opportunities allowed since Week 5, with both teams yielding less than 3 points per opportunity in non-garbage time. In other words, opponents aren’t scoring when they cross the Buffalo or Ohio 40-yard line. The weather could also be factor in this one, as there are 10+ mph winds expected in the forecast, which should aid the defenses against the pass.
Sieh Bangura to record a touchdown (-160)
While things haven’t been the easiest for the Ohio offense in recent weeks, one constant has been the play of Sieh Bangura out of the backfield. Bangura has taken the pressure off Kurtis Rourke in many cases, especially in recent weeks, racking up over 200 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns over the last 4 weeks in MAC conference play. The Buffalo defense is 28th in EPA per pass but is much more susceptible to the ground Game, as the Bulls sit at 66th in EPA per rush on the season per CFB-Graphs. If the Bobcats can get more than one red zone possession, I’d be shocked if Bangura didn’t manage to find his way into the end zone.
