Thanks to the Minnesota Timberwolves Game 4 win, bettors don’t have to wait a whole week without a game until the NBA Finals. You can find out our NBA picks on the side and total of every game through the postseason, but for now, let’s dive into today’s best NBA player prop bets for Timberwolves vs Mavericks on Thursday, May 30.

P.J. Washington, DAL, Over 11.5 points (-131)

Odds available at Caesars Sportsbook at time of publishing.

P.J. Washington was one of the best acquisitions of the season by any team at the trade deadline. He went from averaging nearly 14 points per Game in Charlotte on a sub.500 team to one win away from the NBA Finals. Although Washington has struggled to shoot the ball this series, he’s getting wide-open looks- which seems to be something the Timberwolves will live with. Luka Doncic continues to do a great job at penetrating in the paint and finding Washington.

Washington is a near lock to play upwards of 40 minutes, barring any foul trouble. He’s essential on defense, and with the Mavericks cutting Tim Hardaway Jr. out of their rotation, I don’t see a world where Washington doesn’t see the same minutes he’s seen all series long. We’re looking for a bounce-back performance after a 3/13 shooting performance in Game 4.

Kyle Anderson, MIN, Over 8.5 points + assists (-115)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

If you’re a box score watcher and looked at Game 4, Kyle Anderson had an underwhelming Game. He played a series-high 24 minutes and only scored 2 points. But it was his defense on Luke Doncic and his help in executing on two clutch three-pointers on flare screens that screamed out to me.

If Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert find themselves in foul trouble, Anderson is more than capable of being plugged in. He got the nod over Naz Reid in the closing frame when Towns had five fouls by the 3rd quarter and eventually fouling out in the 4th. I’ll bank on Anderson making the most of his opportunity and knocking down a few patented floaters inside the paint.
