We get a fresh start in the NBA tonight as a new week begins with 10 teams taking the floor across the Association. Once again I’ve mixed things up with our NBA mega parlay and included one spread bet, one total bet and a team to win on the money line. You can find in-depth analysis and NBA predictions for every matchup, but for now, let’s dive into tonight’s NBA mega parlay at +806 odds.

76ers -4.5 (-115)

Trail Blazers vs Pacers Over 241 (-110)

Nuggets ML (+154)

NBA Parlay odds: +806

Philadelphia 76ers -4.5 over Los Angeles Lakers (-115)

This Game should be all about matchups and I really like what the Sixers have to counter LA. Joel Embiid, in particular, will be a nightmare to handle down low, and he’s averaging 33.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per Game on 59% shooting in the last 9 meetings. Philly is also the Healthier team here with only Kelly Oubre Jr. missing from the lineup, but even that won’t be felt as De’Anthony Melton has upped his Game since taking over.

The 76ers have been the better team head-to-head lately with LA covering just 3 times in 10 meetings and the Lakers are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 visits to the city of Brotherly Love. Philadelphia also ranks 3rd in offensive rating, while the Lakers are 24th. The 76ers also have the advantage on the glass, ranking 3rd in rebounding percentage, while the Lakers are all the way down in 16th. Add into the equation the absences of Jarred Vanderbilt, Rui Hachimura, Cam Reddish and Gabe Vincent for LA, and I’m confident that the Sixers can cover the spread.

Portland Trail Blazers vs Indiana Pacers Over 241 points (-110)

If you’ve been paying attention and backing the Indiana Pacers to go over the total, you’ve probably made a ton of money. That bet has cashed 14 times in 15 Indiana games so far this season, and in 9 of their 10 played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Those numbers are quite remarkable, and in all my years following the NBA I have yet to see anything similar. With such consistency on display, I see no reason to change our approach when betting on their games.

Tonight, the Pacers will entertain the Portland Trail Blazers, who are on the 2nd night of a back-to-back following last night’s loss at Milwaukee. Portland has struggled to score lately, but even they should have a successful night at doing so against the fast-paced Pacers. Indy leads the NBA in pace, averaging 104.3 possessions per Game, while ranking 28th in defensive rating. That’s a recipe for high-scoring Games on most nights, so look for these two teams to just exchange blows on the offensive end in what could be another shoutout for Indiana.

Denver Nuggets ML over Los Angeles Clippers (+154)

You’re telling me we can get the defending champions at +154 odds to win a game? No matter who the opponent is, that price is just too good to pass up, especially when they’ll be playing an inconsistent team like the Clippers are. Denver is coming off a 132-120 win over the Spurs last night — a much-needed win following an average stretch of 10 games where they went just 5-5 SU.

Injuries have slowed down the Nuggets, but when you have the 2-time MVP Nikola Jokic on your side, you are never out of Games. The Serbian big man is averaging a near 30-point triple-double in his last 10 Games, while in the last 6 meetings against LA, he’s putting up 30.3 points, 13.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists per Game. With all due respect to Ivica Zubac, he is no match at the center position against the Joker. Denver comes into LA riding a 7-Game win streak in head-to-head meetings and I really like their chances of making it 8 in a row here.
