The weekend is almost here and the NBA was kind enough to give us a massive 13-Game slate tonight. We have an ESPN doubleheader starting with the Suns vs Mavericks Game that is then followed by the 76ers taking on the Lakers. I’ve picked out my 3 favorite bets from Friday’s slate and have pieced together my NBA parlay picks at +848 odds! Let’s dive in, while you can also see our NBA picks for today’s big Games.

Warriors ML (+158)

Bucks +7.5 (-108)

Heat +4 (-110)

Golden State Warriors ML over Cleveland Cavaliers (+158)

Golden State just took down the defending champion Celtics on their home court, and they’ll look to follow that up with another massive result against Steph Curry’s hometown team. The Cavs are currently the only remaining unbeaten team in the NBA, but all runs have to come to an end at some point. At 7-1, the Warriors are currently in a 3-way tie for the 1st seed in the tough Western Conference, and the departure of Klay Thompson has hardly been felt.

It’s been all Golden State in this matchup lately, as they’ve won 8 of the last 10 meetings and have covered the spread 7 times in those Games. Curry in particular has torched the Cavs, as he is averaging 32.3 points per Game in the last 15 meetings while making 47.5% of his threes on 12.2 attempts per Game. Those are out-of-this-world numbers and should carry the Warriors to a road upset if Curry can come anywhere close to replicating that here.

Milwaukee Bucks +7.5 over New York Knicks (-108)

Are we finally seeing the awakening of the Milwaukee Bucks? That’s the question their fans are asking themselves following last night’s 123-100 win over Utah. The usual suspects of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard carried the offense with 65 points scored combined, while Bobby Portis also chipped in 19 off the bench. Obviously a win over Utah isn’t a measuring stick, but there have been signs of life shown by the Bucks in their last 3 Games. We all know this team is better than their 2-6 record, and they enter Friday’s Game as 7.5-point underdogs against a Knicks team that has dropped 2 in a row.

Milwaukee has had the upper hand in head-to-head meetings as well, winning 9 of the last 11, while also covering the spread 13 times in the last 20. At Madison Square Garden, the Bucks are 5-1 in the last 6 so I’m going to give Giannis and company the benefit of the doubt one more time and backing them to cover the spread here.

Miami Heat +4 over Denver Nuggets (-110)

Denver is missing 2 key players in Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray here, and although they were able to pull off a massive win over Oklahoma City in their last game, I’m just not sure it’s sustainable to win without 2 of their stars. Russell Westbrook turned back the clock and scored 29 points against the Thunder last time, and I’d be shocked if he followed that up with another big game here.

Miami needs a response after a pair of close losses to Sacramento and Phoenix. They’ve not had the best of starts to the season offensively, but the defense is still there. Miami currently ranks 2nd in opponent three-point percentage in road games, so the Nuggets could have a hard time connecting on threes here. Nikola Jokic should get his numbers because he’s unstoppable, but I just feel like at the moment he doesn’t have enough help around. Give me Miami to cover here.
