There are currently 2 unbeaten teams remaining the the league, with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Oklahoma City Thunder yet to drop a Game. Both of them will be in action tonight looking to keep their runs going. Considering that both will be up against teams with losing records so far, they should fancy their chances of doing just that. You can take a look at our NBA previews here, but for not lets dive into my player prop selections below.

Damian Lillard (MIL) over 22.5 points (-115)

The Milwaukee Bucks are off to a slow start this season. They will be taking on the Cavaliers tonight who have been terrific. Expect the Bucks leaders to need to step up as a result. Damian Lillard has hit this over in 3 of his 5 games so far this season. While he had an awful performance in his last outing, this could be a great spot for a bounce back game. The Cavaliers are on the second night of a back-to-back so we can expect a drop off in their defensive effort. It is an opponent he had success last season against too, averaging 24.5 points per game. The Cavaliers have a lot of size in the paint with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen which will encourage the Bucks to attack from the perimeter. Look for Lillard to have a big game.

Victor Wembanyama (SA) over 4.5 steals & blocks (-120)

Victor Wembanyama is coming off a fantastic defensive performance in his last outing against the Utah Jazz where he managed 5 blocks and 5 steals. They were his first steals of the season. The Timberwolves should be a great opponent for him to build on that against, considering they are so far 22nd in the league in opponent steals per Game. They are also 23rd in the league in turnovers. In the paint, he is bound to spend time matched up against Julius Randle tonight. The Timberwolves forward is a very physical presence in the paint. If he tries to do that overpower Wembanyama in the post, can certainly envision him underestimating Wembanyama’s length and getting a few shots swatted away. Back the over on this one.

Alperen Sengun (HOU) over 10.5 rebounds (-110)

Alperen Sengun is off to a great start rebounding the ball so far this season. He currently sits 4th in the league in rebounds per Game, averaging 12.4 per Game. He has hit the over on this line in 4 of his 5 Games this season too, with the one Game he didn’t being against the San Antonio Spurs playing limited minutes. The Warriors do not have great size on the inside, with Draymond Green and Trayce Jackson-Davis in the starting 5. Neither should be able to overpower the Turkish center in the paint. The Warriors have been 27th in the league in opponent offensive rebounds per Game. It should provide the Rockets center with an opportunity to pad his rebounding stats further. He currently averages 4.6 offensive rebounds per Game, with only Andre Drummond managing more in the NBA. The Warriors should be a great matchup for him. Back the over.
