Anthony Edwards over 5.5 rebounds (+122)

We’re seeing Anthony Edwards being way more aggressive on the boards this season, at least through the first 4 Games played. Ant Man is averaging 6.3 rebounds a night, which is a decent increase from 5.3 last season. He has cleared this line in every single Game so far, so I really like the odds we are getting for him to do this against the Nuggets tonight as well. Denver has really struggled to keep opponents off the glass in these first 10 days of the season. Teams are averaging 57.8 rebounds per Game against them, which is the 4th-highest mark in the NBA. If Rudy Gobert doesn’t eat up all the rebounds, Ant Man should continue his streak here.

Jamal Murray over 1.5 made threes (-174)

Jamal Murray has come under a lot of criticism following his poor play in the postseason last year and the Olympics this summer, but so far in the new season he has produced at a solid level. Apart from the Raptors game, he has cleared this line in his 3 other matchups this season against OKC, the Clippers and the Nets. He’s shooting the three-ball at 35% which is slightly down compared to previous seasons, but we’re still in the early going and I expect that number to pick up as things progress. He averaged 2.3 made threes per game on 53.8% efficiency in 3 regular-season meetings with Minnesota last season. In the Western Conference semifinals, he was able to clear this line in 5 of 7 games as well. Minnesota ranks 6th-worst in the NBA in opponent three-point percentage over their last 3 games played, so look for Murray to take advantage.

Nikola Jokic over 27.5 points (-104)

If it wasn’t for Nikola Jokic’s heroics, the Denver Nuggets would be bottom of the Western Conference after 4 games played. Hailed by many as the best player in the NBA, Jokic has been lighting it up in the new season. The Serbian is averaging 31.5 points per game on insane efficiency from the field at 57.3% and 55% from downtown. He already has 2 games of 40+ points under his belt and his numbers would have been even higher if it wasn’t for the 16-point game on Denver’s opening matchup against Oklahoma City. Going up against Rudy Gobert will add to the Joker’s motivation, who averaged 29 points in last season’s series against the Timberwolves. Similarly to the Nuggets, the T-Wolves have also struggled to keep teams away from scoring on the inside – opponents are averaging 55 points per game in the paint against them which is the 2nd-worst mark in the NBA. Count on Jokic to deliver yet another high-scoring performance.
