If you’ve been in Buffalo recently then you’ll know that it has been rather chilly. Anyone with a passing interest in the National Football League will have been aware that the Pittsburgh Steelers vs Buffalo Bills Super Wild Card Weekend clash had to be postponed because of the icy temperatures and associated snowfall just over a week ago. Well, as the Kansas City Chiefs came to town for the Divisional Game, one place the players would not have expected to feel the cold was in the locker room showers. They’d be wrong!

The Game finished 27-24 for the visitors as Mahomes and Kelce linked up to break the existing Brady-Gronk record. But after the celebrations had concluded on the field (and a little in the VIP area), the players headed inside for a warm shower. It seems that simple desire was not afforded them.

According to a post from Chiefs’ offensive tackle Donovan Smith, someone at the Buffalo venue shut off the hot water.

“Damn caught a L and they shut our hot water off…,” Smith posted on X. “smh its all good we got that Dub today,” he added, declining the opportunity to joke about electricity bills not being paid by the losers.

Let’s see if the staff at the Arrowhead remember this for when the Bills next visit.
