Just to be clear, Moo Deng isn’t going live on Twitch to stream Fortnite or to crash a tuktuk into a temple like Speed did when he was here in Thailand. Khao Kheow Open Zoo has set up cameras all around the pygmy hippo’s enclosure, and now the zoo is live streaming the adorable animal’s antics all across the internet. It’s a great way to avoid the limited five-minute viewing time when visiting Moo Deng in person. And, of course, it’s a way for you to watch her if you’re not remotely anywhere near in Thailand.

Aside from that, it’s a great way to beat the crowds who are now swarming the celebrity hippo. In an interview with Bangkok Post, zoo director Narongwit Chodchoy said that Khao Kheow Open Zoo has seen a staggering 50% increase in its visitors thanks to the rotund mammal. He predicted that the zoo would earn more than THB 200 million (USD 6.13 million) by the end of the fiscal year.

The internet has been abuzz with memes, fan art, and relatable posts about the lovable pygmy hippo. With her new livestream, her adoring fans can now stay updated on what she’s doing, which is really just playing, eating, and napping.

You can watch the live stream at Zoodio.live. Head to the Hippopotamus section of the site then navigate to the tab named “Live Streaming” to see what Moo Deng is up to.
