MLB Jokingly Calls Travis Kelce Taylor Swift’s ‘Future Husband’ During Yankees Game Date Night

Major League Baseball proved that they’re fans of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship, and even dubbed the professional Football player as her “future husband.”

After Taylor, 34, and Travis, 35, attended the New York Yankees vs. Cleveland Guardians Game on Monday, October 14, the MLB took to TikTok to share footage from their date night. “TAYLOR SWIFT ATTENDS GAME WITH HER POTENTIAL FUTURE HUSBAND IN MY DREAMS TRAVIS KELCE YOU TWO MAKE ME BELIEVE IN LOVE I CAN’T STOP CRYING NEVER CHANGE ILYSM #TAYVIS,” text above the couple read.

“Is anyone else sweating profusely no just me ok cool,” the account captioned the clip, adding the hashtags “Taylor Swift,” “Travis Kelce,” “music” and “baseball.”

Shortly after the account shared the post, several social media users took to the comments section to praise the MLB for the supportive caption. “I’ve never loved the MLB more than I do right now! Thank you for not putting this woman down for simply existing and enjoying life with her bf,” one person wrote. Another chimed in, “I literally thought this was a fan account until I saw it was the actual MLB page.”

“Me, a social media manager, when I accidentally post something on the work account instead of my personal account,” an additional fan wrote.

The date was low-key for Travis and Taylor, who both dressed casually in baseball caps and dark jackets as they enjoyed the Game from a private box. The pair was captured sharing several sweet moments throughout the evening, including when the Ohio native took a sip of the “Cornelia Street” singer’s drink.

In addition to subtly packing on the PDA throughout the Game, Taylor and Travis were also joined by friends including comedian Jerrod Carmichael and his boyfriend, Mike, as well as Patrick Bacon and Gehrig Dieter.

The couple – who have been dating since summer 2023 – have been enjoying Travis’ bye week by going out on several dates in New York City. Not only did they go to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx for the baseball game, but they also enjoyed a double date with friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds at The Corner Store on October 11.

Taylor looked stylish in a camel-colored coat, a beige and black corset-style Gucci top, a black mini skirt and black booties, while she seemingly hinted that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is coming by rocking a purse with a snake on it.

As many Swifties now, snakes became a popular symbol of the Reputation era in 2017 after Kim Kardashian referred to her as a “snake” on social media amid their feud. Fans have anxiously been waiting for Taylor to announce when her next re-recording will be released, as she only has Reputation and her self-titled debut album left.

Prior to their weekend in NYC, Travis shared a rare insight into his relationship with Taylor by revealing that she has encouraged him to be more adventurous with food. “You know I’m starting to open up to the Indian cuisine,” he told brother Jason Kelce on the October 9 episode of their “New Heights” podcast.

“I know, my girl Tay is getting you opened up,” Jason, 36, responded, while Travis agreed, “She is.”
