Local And National Businesses In New York Honoring Veterans
You may or may not have Monday off but that doesn't change the fact that it is Veteran's Day and we all need to stop down for a few moments and give thanks to the men and women who have served our country.
If you know a veteran then it goes without saying that you will be honoring them in some way on Monday. If you don't have a veteran in your circle but you see one in your travels please be sure to recognize their service with a simple thank you.
Hudson Valley Businesses Will Be Honoring Veteran's with Specials
Along with the many celebrations that honor our local veteran's service there are also many Businesses both locally and nationally that will be honoring our service men and women Monday by offering services and products just for them. It is a wonderful gesture that is always appreciated.
The number of local Businesses that will be offering veterans gratitude through service and products is much too long to list. If you have a favorite restaurant or Business you should check in with them to see what they have planned. Here are some great examples of some I found.
McGillicuddy's in New Paltz Honors Veteran's
On Monday McGillicuddy's is honoring all veterans by opening for lunch and offering Veterans a 15% discount when they open at noon.
The Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville Honors Veteran's
The Brotherhood, America's Oldest Winery will be open Monday from 11 AM to 5 PM and is offering Veterans a complimentary tasting.
To honor and thank you for your service, we invite veterans to enjoy a complimentary tasting with us. While this small gesture cannot fully express our gratitude for your sacrifices, it’s our way of showing appreciation. (via Facebook Brotherhood, America's Oldest Winery)
Mountain House Tavern and Grill in Branchville, New Jersey Honors Veterans
The Mountain House Tavern and Grill is just over the New York border in New Jersey and they will be honoring Veterans on Monday with a meal.
Please join us, on Monday, November 11th. In honor of those who have served and who are currently serving our nation, we invite all Veterans to join us for a delicious meal on us. It’s the least we could do!! From all of us at Mountain House, we thank you !! (via Facebook Mountain House Tavern and Grill)
National Businesses Honor Veterans on Veteran's Day
Many national Businesses offer a veteran's discount every day. Some also add to that to honor veterans for their service on Veteran's Day. Military Money has put together a very comprehensive list that includes places such as Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cracker Barrel, Dunkin', Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Sheetz, Texas Roadhouse, and many more. See the complete list of Businesses and offers here.
I also want to take this moment to thank all our Veterans who have served or may still be serving as active Military or National Guard. Thank You!
