The Los Angeles Lakers were able to stave off elimination in Game 4, coming out on top at home. The task at hand however remains monumental, with the series now shifting back to Denver. The Lakers, however, are an experienced bunch and will know to take it one game at a time. No one has ever come back from being 3-0 down in the NBA playoffs. You would not put it past LeBron James to be the one leading the team that manages this feat first. Los Angeles Lakers +7.5 over Denver Nuggets (-114)

Even in their losses during the series, the Lakers have spent most of the time leading the Games. They were finally able to close one of these out in Game 4 and will be confident they can continue that sort of form tonight. During these NBA playoffs, the Lakers have been shooting the ball better than their counterparts, as seen with their superior true-shooting percentage. The most recent Game in Denver between the teams went down to the buzzer, with Jamal Murray knocking down the Game-winning shot. With the Lakers on the brink of elimination, I expect them to come out fighting here. While it might not be enough for the win, I think it should be a tight contest. Take the points.

Jamal Murray over 24.5 points (-104)

Jamal Murray has managed to score exactly 22 points in 3 of the 4 games so far in this series. It feels like we are overdue a big offensive performance from the Canadian, and it could be tonight in a close-out game at home. Despite some of his inefficiencies, his field-goal attempts and minutes have not wavered. He has played at least 39 minutes in each contest, managing over 20 field-goal attempts in each. He has not shot above 40% from the field in any of those games. It should be a matter of time before he gets out of this shooting funk. Even a slight uptick in efficiency should set him up well to hit the over. We saw him step up in Game 2, closing out the game. Back Murray to take control and help Denver close out the series overall tonight.

Austin Reaves over 1.5 made threes (-128)

LeBron James attempted just 2 three-pointers in Game 4, instead putting a bigger emphasis on attacking the inside. With Anthony Davis also not being a threat from behind the arc, it’s down to the other Lakers on the floor to provide the spacing. Austin Reaves should be the man providing that tonight. He has hit at least 2 triples twice in the series already. That is helped by the fact that he is attempting 5.5 three-pointers per Game in the playoffs. The Nuggets should be content to have him be the one shooting, as he is not as big of a threat from out there as someone like D’Angelo Russell. Reaves has seen his three-point percentage drop to 27.3% in the postseason, but considering he made 36.7% of his attempts during the regular season, a bounce-back Game is not out of the question.
