Inevitable Celtic Exit Finally Confirmed
After he completed a medical yesterday, Rocco Vata’s Celtic exit has this afternoon been confirmed.
The youngster has signed for English Championship outfit Watford, penning a four-year deal at Vicarage Road, with the option of another.
The move was recently confirmed by the London club:

The transfer ends a wealth of uncertainty surrounding Vata’s future. The teenager reportedly had a contract offer on the table from Celtic, but he has opted to move down South.
Celtic wished Vata all the best on X, but one assumes Brendan Rodgers won’t lose any sleep over this exit.
The manager did give the attacker a few opportunities last season, but he didn’t make the grade to earn as many minutes as he would have perhaps liked.
In signing for Watford, Vata would likely have been given guarantees over playing time.
The club want to get back into the English Premier League, and the former Celt will be desperate to make his mark as they do so.
