I used to feel unsafe in Sidharth Shukla's case, says Shehnaaz Gill

Indian actress Shehnaaz Gill, who gained fame through the popular reality show Bigg Boss 13, has revealed that she often felt insecure during her relationship with the late actor Sidharth Shukla due to his attractive personality.

In a recent interview with filMMAker Farah Khan, Shehnaaz discussed her past relationship with Shukla, who passed away in 2021. Shehnaaz candidly admitted that despite her deep affection for him, she struggled with insecurities because of his good looks.

“I’m never impressed by a man’s appearance; for me, character and morality are most important," she said, adding, "But with Sidharth, I felt a sense of ownership and insecurity because of his charm. If he spoke to another girl, I feared he might drift away from me.”

Gill further explained how jealousy and sensitivity naturally arise when one's partner is very attractive. She reflected on her loyalty to Shukla and said she intends to maintain the same level of commitment in her future relationships.

She also expressed her desire for equality in her future partnerships, saying, “I want my partner and I to be equal, both financially and professionally. Even when it comes to paying the bill or giving gifts, I believe in fairness.”

Shehnaaz and Sidharth's love story began on Bigg Boss 13, and their bond quickly became the talk of the show.

Tragically, Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2, 2021, after suffering a sudden heart attack.
