Kneecap’s Móglaí Bap Raises £30,000 for Gaza Food Aid with 10k Daily Runs .Linh
Kneecap’s rapper Móglaí Bap has raised over £30,000 for Gaza food parcels by running 10 kilometers daily throughout the band’s English and Scottish tour. The initiative, aimed at providing aid to Palestinians and raising awareness of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, concludes today (November 21) in Kentish Town, where fans are invited to join Bap’s final run at 3 p.m., dressed in Palestine, Celtic, or Bohs-themed attire.
The band emphasized the urgency of their efforts, saying, “The people of Gaza are under relentless attack from the sky with British and US weapons. Let’s raise awareness and some aid to help them.” Fans can still contribute to the campaign via the band’s social media links.
Kneecap, known for their bold political stances, will also perform at the Gig for Gaza charity show on December 13 at the O2 Academy Brixton, alongside Primal Scream and Paul Weller. The band has previously made headlines for their unwavering support of Palestine, refusing to remove Palestine badges on Ireland’s Late Late Show and calling for a ceasefire and accountability in a statement shared after their US TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Currently, Kneecap is celebrating their inclusion in the BBC Sound of 2025 longlist, showcasing their growing iNFLuence in the music industry while staying committed to their activism.
