NFL MNF Ravens vs Chargers Same Game Parlay at +626 odds | Pickswise
This Week 12 installment of Monday Night Football features the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers. The Ravens are right back in the AFC North division race after the Steelers lost on Thursday, while the Chargers are suddenly a contender in an AFC West division that has traditionally been dominated by the Kansas City Chiefs. Let’s dive into our Ravens vs Chargers Same Game Parlay picks for MNF, which gets underway at 8:15 pm ET on ESPN. You can also find out our NFL picks on the side and total for this matchup, as well as every game throughout the 2024 NFL season.
Ravens -2.5 (-118)
Over 50.5 (-110)
Ladd McConkey anytime touchdown scorer (+160)
Ravens vs Chargers Same Game Parlay odds: +626
Part of the value in a Same Game Parlay, of course, is that you can have legs that somewhat contradict each other to drive up the potential payout. That’s the plan here, as Ladd McConkey finding the end zone doesn’t exactly align with a Ravens win. However, regardless of the result, I don’t expect Los Angeles to be shut out entirely and with the way McConkey has been playing, he looks more than capable of scoring a touchdown. Let’s break down each leg.

Baltimore Ravens -2.5 over LA Chargers (-118)
For the first leg of our Ravens vs Chargers Same Game Parlay, I’m laying the short number with the Ravens. What a difference a season makes for the Chargers, as Los Angeles is 7-3 and looks like a legitimate playoff team. Jim Harbaugh has clearly worked wonders on the defense, and the Bolts’ offense has been coming along nicely thanks to a terrific season from Justin Herbert. However, there is one area where the Chargers have consistently been a letdown all season, and that’s their run defense.
The Chargers have a bottom-10 run defense in Football, and that doesn’t bode well against a Ravens offense whose entire identity is built around an all-time great backfield with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. Baltimore is averaging 5.8 yards per rush on the season, in addition to being top in the league in EPA per play and success rate. This is also a great spot to back a Ravens team that is more experienced with being in a Game of this magnitude, and I expect the Chargers to take a bit of a step back after surviving a furious comeback from the Bengals a week ago.

Over 50.5 (-110)
For the second leg of our Ravens vs Chargers Same Game Parlay picks, we’re going with the Over while it’s still under the key number of 51. A Ravens victory coincides nicely with the Over in this matchup, as Baltimore is inside the top 5 in virtually every offensive metric this season. There’s also something to be said for the Chargers defense struggling against an excellent Bengals offense a week ago, and that challenge only gets tougher with Baltimore this week. On the other side, it’s not like the Ravens have been anything special on defense, especially against the pass (7.7 yards per pass allowed this season). Given that Herbert is in the midst of a terrific season and looks more confident than ever under Jim Harbaugh, we’ll take our chances on the fact that Los Angeles can do enough to send this Game Over.

Ladd McConkey anytime touchdown scorer (+160)
Ladd McConkey had his coming out party in a massive spot against the Bengals a week ago — racking up 123 yards on 9 targets — and he’s clearly become the focal point of the Chargers’ passing offense. And even though he was a limited participant in practice earlier in the week, all signs point to the Georgia product being able to suit up and add a much-needed dimension to Los Angeles’ passing attack. Herbert and McConkey have already established a clear connection, and that should continue against a Baltimore defense that has allowed 16 touchdowns to the wide receiver position, along with over 2,000 yards on the season. Herbert has had no trouble spreading the ball around to a plethora of targets, but when the Chargers need a crucial 3rd down or big play in the red zone, their quarterback often turns to his favorite target in the slot.
