Lindsay Lohan Recalls Iconic Comeback at ‘The Parent Trap’ Premiere, Teases Future Disney Projects .Linh

Lindsay Lohan charmed audiences once again during her appearance on Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens Live.’ The actress, currently promoting Netflix’s upcoming holiday film ‘Our Little Secret,’ recounted a memorable moment from the 1998 premiere of ‘The Parent Trap.’ At just 12 years old, Lohan famously quipped to then-Disney CEO Michael Eisner, “You should’ve paid me double because I don’t have one,” when asked about her nonexistent twin. The witty response cemented her as a Hollywood icon early in her career.

Lohan’s breakout role in ‘The Parent Trap’ featured her as twin sisters Hallie and Annie, showcasing her talent in a dual role. Reflecting on her career, she revealed that it was the only movie she ever auditioned for, adding to the significance of her connection with the beloved classic. When asked if she would consider revisiting the role, Lohan said she’d be open to a sequel or reboot, but only if Nancy Meyers, the film’s original co-writer and director, was involved.

Although no ‘Parent Trap’ sequel is planned, Lohan is reconnecting with her Disney roots in the upcoming ‘Freaky Friday’ sequel, titled ‘Freakier Friday.’ Filming took place over the summer, and Lohan described returning to the Disney lot as nostalgic. “It felt like being a kid again,” she shared during an interview with ABC’s ‘Nightline.’ Lohan also reminisced about her iconic Disney projects, including ‘Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen’ and ‘Herbie: Fully Loaded.’
