1:34 pm ET Parx (Race 3) – Freddyness 5/2 (2-star play)

The 3-year-old Freddyness showed good form at a higher level when racing at Laurel earlier this year, including when following up a win in a $12,500 claiming contest over 5.5-furlongs with a 3rd place when racing at the same level at the start of last month.

The gelding failed to shine in a similar event over 6 furlongs at Parx when returning to this venue at the start of this month but gets a marked drop in grade today and looks up to taking this.

2:01 pm ET Parx (Race 4) – Singinthruthestorm 8/5 (2-star play)

Singinthruthestorm has registered a couple of wins when racing at around this level so far this year and has also delivered a number of on-the-board finishes, including when a head 2nd having been overhauled late on in an extended mile $7,500 claiming event at Parx on his penultimate start.

The gelding found the step up to $10,000 claiming company too much when a well-beaten 5th subsequently and, moving back down in grade, looks capable of registering a third win of the year.

3:53 pm ET Parx (Race 10) – Sevier 2/1 (2-star play)

Trained by Jamie Ness, the veteran Sevier has delivered some fair efforts in defeat when sprinting at Laurel and Aqueduct this year. Those efforts include a 4.75-length 5th when fading late on over 7 furlongs in a $32,000 claiming event at Aqueduct on his penultimate start.

He tackles an easier contest today than when returning at Parx last month and looks up to helping jockey Frankie Pennington improve on his 27% strike-rate (59/222) at this meeting.
