2:01 Parx (Race 4) – Somebody 9/5 (2-star play)

The pick completed a double when delivering a one length victory when sent off a short-priced favourite for a $5,000 claiming contest over a mile-and-seventy-yards here earlier this month. Claimed by current connections following that effort and has competed with credit at a higher level in the past including when fourth in a couple of $12,500 claimers at Saratoga last summer. The veteran Mineshaft gelding likes this track and looks capable of registering the seventh win of his career.

3:26 pm Parx (Race 7) – Shirley Greene 2/1 (2-star play)

Showed solid placed form for his previous trainer including when third in a $10,000 starter contest over six furlongs at this venue in March. Joined Haleem R Lee following a sixth in a $10,000 claimer here at the start of last month and shaped as if capable of taking a race of this nature when four-and-three-quarter-lengths third in a six furlong $10,000 claiming event here earlier this month. Looks up to scoring with Silvestre Gonzalez a positive jockey booking.

4:47 pm Parx (Race 10) – Brindisi 7/2 (2-star play)

The four-year-old has won twice from seven starts since a gelding operation back in February last year. The most recent of those came by a nose in a mile allowance optional claiming event here just over 13 months ago. Regular pilot Abner Adorno is back in the saddle and can steer the pick to victory having delivered a six-and-a-half-length fourth in an allowance optional claimer when partnered by Paco Lopez over a mile here earlier this month.
