12:40 pm ET Parx (Race 1) – Marvelousmoondance 9/5 (2-star play)

Marvelousmoondance has shown plenty of ability at maiden special weight level in his career to date, including when 3rd over 6 furlongs on a good track at Parx 3 starts back. The drop to this $40,000 maiden claiming company saw him come within a neck of breaking his maiden on a sloppy surface there last month.

That effort came over this distance and while the Hard Spun gelding has had plenty of chances he is taken to break his maiden this time.

2:59 pm ET Parx (Race 6) – Separate Ways 3/1 (2-star play)

The 3-year-old Separate Ways has finished on the board in 2 of his 3 starts with both of those efforts coming over 6 furlongs at Parx, including when beaten 7 lengths into 3rd place early last month.

The son of Mastery was making his first start since a gelding operation that day and with regular pilot Silvestre Gonzalez riding he looks capable of helping trainer Kathleen A Demasi improve on her impressive 24% strike-rate (26/108) at this meeting. 

4:20 pm ET Parx (Race 9) – Girl Trouble 8/5 (2-star play)

This daughter of Fast Anna has shown good form at stakes level, including when winning by 5.25 lengths in the Parx Futurity in January. She has since registered a number of good efforts and appeared to appreciate the drop to an allowance when winning by 4 lengths over 6 furlongs at Monmouth Park on her penultimate start. She found the trip too far back in stakes company there subsequently and is taken to score now she returns to sprinting.
