12:43 pm Ellis Park (Race 3) – V V’s Dream 7/5 (2-star play)

The daughter of Mitole made an impressive start to her racing career when overcoming a slow start to deliver a six-and-a-quarter-length victory in a maiden special weight contest over five furlongs at Churchill Downs in May. The filly has delivered a number of solid works since including a 48.40 four furlong breeze 24th June and with the extra furlong she tackles here unlikely to inconvenience she looks capable of maintaining her unbeaten record for trainer Kenny McPeek.

2:50 pm Ellis Park (Race 7) – White Frost 8/5 (2-star play)

The five-year-old has been in good form in Graded company in recent starts including when four-and-a-quarter-lengths third in the mile-and-one-sixteenth Grade 1 Jenny Wiley at Keeneland on her penultimate start. The mare was headed late on when half-a-length second in the Grade 3 Old Forester Mint Julep over the same trip at Churchill Downs subsequently but gets a drop in grade for this contest. The slightly shorter distance is no issue and she looks up to deliver a victory.

3:55 pm Ellis Park (Race 9) – Zozos 9/5 (2-star play)

The winner of five of his eight starts to date last years Grade 2 Louisiana Derby Derby second registered his first stakes success when taking out the Knicks Go Stakes over a mile at Churchill Downs in early May. The four-year-old has been in good form in the mornings since including when registering a 1:00.40 five furlong work at Churchill Downs recently. Florent Geroux, on board last time retains the ride and he can steer Brad Cox’s colt to victory.
