1:05 pm Belmont Park (Race 1) – Jimmythetooth 9/5 (2-star play)

The two-year-old showed plenty of ability when making his debut in a five furlong maiden special weight contest at this venue last month. Racing in fourth early the son of World Of Trouble kept on nicely in behind the leaders to be beaten four-and-a-half-lengths in third. Michael Maker’s colt is expected to have improved for that effort and racing over the same course and distance here looks up to registering his first victory at the second attempt.

2:09 pm Belmont Park (Race 3) – Fancy Joke 2/1 (2-star play)

Rudy Rodriguez’s charge is the winner of two of her three starts to date including when making all by one-and-three-quarter-lengths on her second start for the handler in a six furlong allowance at this venue in May. Prior to that the daughter of Practical Joke had been unable to dominate when racing in second prior to being beaten three lengths when runner-up over seven furlongs at Aqueduct and she looks up to recording her third win in four career starts.

2:38 pm Belmont Park (Race 4) – Olympic Dreams 2/1 (2-star play)

Successful twice at Aqueduct earlier this year the gelding returned to this venue when finishing one-and-a-quarter-0lengths third in a mile allowance optional claimer back in May. The son of Medaglia d’Oro delivered a career best effort when narrowly beaten in finishing a head second in the Commentator Stakes over a mile-and-one-sixteenth here later that month. The gelding has recorded a couple of timed works since and is taken to register a victory dropping back to an allowance optional claimer.

4:13 pm Belmont Park (Race 7) – Truly Quality 8/5 (2-star play)

The son of Quality Road has shown plenty of ability in two starts to date finishing runner-up on each occasion. The first of those came over a mile at Indiana Downs when beaten a length while he duly followed that up with a half-length second over a mile-and-one-eighth at Churchill Downs. The three-year-old raced from off the pace on each occasion and is selected to register his first victory with similar tactics expected in this field.

5:19 pm Belmont Park (Race 9) – Major Dude 9/5 (2-star play)

The three-year-old showed good form at two including when registering a victory in the Grade 2 Pilgrim Stakes prior to a ninth at the Breeders’ Cup in November. The Bolt d’Oro colt has shown solid graded form again this time around recording a second victory of the year when delivering a three-quarters-of-a-length success in the Grade 2 Penn Mile over a mile at Penn National at the start of last month. Looks capable of recording a fifth career win.
