Fact Check: Is Sajal Aly starring opposite Prabhas in new film?
Indian film director Hanu Raghavapudi has refuted rumours suggesting that Pakistani actress Sajal Aly would star opposite Indian superstar Prabhas in his upcoming film.
Speculation had been rife in recent days that Aly was set to appear in a romantic role alongside Prabhas in the much-anticipated project.
The rumours gained traction after Indian media outlet Filmfare shared an Instagram post claiming that Aly would play a lead role in the forthcoming film Fauji. The news quickly spread across Bollywood circles, creating a buzz among fans of both stars.
However, Raghavapudi has now put those rumours to rest. Commenting on the circulating reports, the director clarified that the claims are entirely baseless. He categorically denied any plans for Sajal Aly and Prabhas to work together in the film.
This confirmation has disappointed fans who were eager to see the cross-border collaboration materialise. As of now, there has been no further comment from either Aly or Prabhas regarding the situation.
