This week, the DP World Tour presents golf fans with the 2024 FedEx Open de France. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a Draftkings perspective.

Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for this tournament let’s review the Golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a Golfer’s success at this week’s FedEx Open de France.

Who won the 2023 FedEx Open de France?

Ryo Hisatsune won the 2023 FedEx Open de France with a cumulative four round score of 14 under par.

Will the 2024 FedEx Open de France have a traditional cut after two rounds?

The 2024 FedEx Open de France will have a field of 126 comPetitors to start the tournament on Thursday. This event will have a cut after the completion of the first two rounds. The top 65 Golfers and ties will make the cut.

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

2024 Open de France Draftkings Picks

Yannik Paul $8,700

Last week Yannik Paul fired a final round 68 at the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship en route to an eventual 19th place finish.

Due to Yannik Paul’s quality finish at the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player data for the event to see how Paul fared relative to the field.

Upon the completion of four rounds of comPetitive play at the 2024 Alfred Dunhill Championship, in relation to the field, Yannik Paul ranked third in strokes gained approach (5.126), 16th in strokes gained tee to green (4.599), and 19th in overall scoring average (68.25).

Yannik Paul also checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Since 2022, Paul has played this week’s DP World Tour event two times. In those two events just noted, Paul has compiled two top eight finishes, including a sixth-place finish at the 2023 FedEx Open de France.

Frederic Lacroix $8,000

Since the beginning of July, Frederic Lacroix has played six tournaments on the DP World Tour. In those six events just mentioned, Lacroix tallied four top 20 finishes, including a win at the 2024 Danish Golf Championship in August.

Frederic Lacroix arrives at this week’s tournament playing well from a statistical perspective. Let me be more specific. Lacroix is currently ranked 12th in strokes gained off the tee (0.64), 12th in driving accuracy (62.65%), 18th in par four scoring average (3.99), tenth in strokes gained tee to green (1.35), and 23rd in driving distance (309.59 yards) on the DP World Tour.

Joost Luiten $7,300

Joost Luiten has tallied three top 23 finishes in his last six events played on the DP World Tour, including a sixth-place result at the 2024 Omega European Masters four weeks ago.

It should also be noted that Joost Luiten has played well at the FedEx Open de France in the past. More specifically, Luiten finished 11th at the 2023 FedEx Open de France.

Additional golfers I like to play well (Draftkings price noted): Jordan Smith $9,700: Victor Perez $9,300: Jeff Winther $7,100: David Law $6,600: Thorbjorn Olesen $9,500.
