Details of Celtic’s 25/26 Home Shirt Leaked
In a first for Celtic, the club’s 2025-26 home kit will incorporate a tartan pattern, as revealed by Footy Headlines.
While the exact colour scheme of the Adidas-designed shirt remains unknown, it’s expected to maintain Celtic’s traditional green and white, with the tartan element likely to offer a fresh twist on the club’s iconic Hoops.
Celtic’s contract with Adidas was set to expire this summer. However, it’s been heavily reported that the Hoops have agreed on an extension and that an announcement is imminent.
Furthermore, Celtic are set to become an elite club with the kit manufacturer, joining some of Europe’s top guns.
This isn’t the first time Adidas has experimented with the Hoops; last season’s stained glass effect within the green hoops received mixed reactions from fans. However, with tartan deeply embedded in Scottish heritage, this upcoming design may hold broader appeal, adding a historical nod while respecting the club’s traditions.
Nike had some tartan designs in the early 2010s when they were the kit supplier, but they didn’t incorporate this into home shirts.
Celtic supporters will be watching closely as more details emerge, eager to see how the jersey looks.
No doubt, as the months progress, Footy Headlines will have some more details.
