It’s never too early to start thinking about your fantasy Football roster! We may just barely be in July, but now is the time to start considering what players you might want to think about and eventually start studying them in training camp.

The Dallas Cowboys have a few players on the squad that are worth looking into, and their training camp starts on July 24. Here are a few players to watch and consider.

Fantasy Football: Dallas Cowboys players

1. Tight end Jake Ferguson

Jake Ferguson was quarterback Dak Prescott’s second-favorite target just behind wide receiver CeeDee Lamb last season. He also finished just behind Lamb in receiving yards and receptions. Now that running back Tony Pollard and receiver Michael Gallup have left the Cowboys, Ferguson may be seeing even more chances for targets in the 2024 season.

2. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb

I almost skipped this one just because it should be so obvious that you’d want CeeDee on your team. Experts at ESPN have him as the top WR to draft in fantasy this season, and with good reason. He led the league in receptions last year (135) and set a Cowboys record with 1,749 yards, plus ended the season with 12 receiving touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns.

3. Wide receiver Jalen Tolbert

The Cowboys wide receiver is currently behind Lamb and Cooks in the lineup, but would be a good choice for a dynasty fantasy league. He improved immensely from his rookie season to last season, with 22 receptions for 268 yards and two touchdowns. This season, he’ll be competing for the WR3 spot, which could give him that extra motivation to play even harder, and has a lot of potential for growth.

4. Quarterback Dak Prescott

If you had Dak last year and dropped him after four games, you definitely ended up regretting that decision. Last season ended up being his best career season so far, with a nearly 70% completion rate on his passes for 4,516 yards and 36 touchdowns and just nine interceptions. With basically no ground game to speak of this season, Prescott could get more action in the run game in 2024 as well. ESPN currently has him ranked as the eighth-highest fantasy quarterback.
