And the action doesn’t stop there, with Week 12 hurtling down the road towards us with more elite American Football. For six teams, however, next week will be slightly calmer, as the ‘bye week’ comes in their calendars, meaning the action is paused and they get a much-deserved rest and recuperation.

NFL bye weeks have been a part of the NFL every season since 1990. All 32 teams in the country play continuous games for the opening four weeks and final two weeks of the season, but between Week 5 and Week 13 teams rotate bye weeks, with none on Week 8 or 13.
