Hella Health describes itself as offering a “simple and painless Medicare online shopping platform for the new generation of savvy consumers”. This month they were acquired by RI-based CVS.

Adding Hella Health to CVS Health’s family of companies furthers CVS Health’s commitment to enhancing digital capabilities – particularly for seniors. Hella+Health‘s statement:
Hella+Health is part of the CVS Health family of companies with a vision to empower older Americans to live healthy, happy lives. We begin by transforming the Medicare buying experience. Through the power of technology, we help individuals select the right Medicare plan that matches their unique needs and preferences. Hella Group recommends and sells insurance products through its wholly owned, licensed insurance agency – audomo insurance services LLC. We have a national platform and operate in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. For customers that want to talk to an agent on the phone, we partnered with Smart Match Insurance Agency LLC.
Their team of experts specialize in customer satisfaction, efficient design, artificial intelligence, and information security have built a proprietary platform that redefines what Medicare shopping can be.
The company says that “older adults are more digitally savvy than others give them credit for. We believe that they deserve the convenience of selecting a health plan for themselves – our tools provide them with straightforward advice and a convenient way to buy Medicare solutions”.
CVS had no comment other than to direct us to what Hella+Health has released.
