Confirmed: Unrecognisable Celtic Starting XI vs Ayr
A rag tag group of Celtic players will take to the field this evening to face Scott Brown’s Ayr United in their first pre season Game.
With international Football meaning a lot of the Celtic players who helped win the double last season have still not returned, it’s up to fringe players and youngsters to help senior players like Kyogo, Kuhn, Iwata and Welsh.
If you were looking for a familiar Celtic team, then you’re not getting it!
Bain takes his place in goals with Joe Hart’s retirement meaning he is the number one until told otherwise.
Dede and Ure join the first team crew while a number of B players including the much talked about Bosun Lawal are on the bench.
This is an exercise in fitness more than anything with fans turning up to the ground hoping to see some of the youth bhoys stand out because there’s no new signings to see as of yet.
Celtic will hope to grab a win in Ayr to set them up for a Game against Queens Park before they head stateside.
