Florida is having something of a forgettable year in 2024. With 11 Games in the books, the Gators are 6-5 and sit 10th in the SEC.

That said, this weekend Billy Napier and Co. earned a very impressive victory over Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss.

While the Game itself was fascinating and surprising and many ways, the one thing everyone couldn’t stop talking about the in the aftermath was one fan’s behavior in the stands. It didn’t quite rise to Olivia Dunne’s sister wearing a see-through shirt-levels of virality, but it was still pretty big.

The young woman in question isn’t from the U.S., and she decided to take in a college Football Game like a regular American. This was the result:

Fan shenanigans aside, this was an objectively impressive showing from the Gators.

After the Game, Napier had a lot to say.

“Look, I think for me, yeah, I’ve watched this group — college football is unique,” he noted.

“We play 12 regular season Games, maybe get to play another or two, but I’m around these guys every day. Behind the scenes there’s a lot that happens and a lot that goes on. We go and we put it on full display 12 times a year.

I’ve been saying it the entire time, I just think there was something special about this group, and when the football wasn’t right in the beginning of the year, man, it hurt me a little bit to be honest with you because I’ve been watching these guys working and anticipating us being much improved,” Napier continued.

“So I think I just was consumed with anything and everything that I could do to help them get better, like how do we fix this. Give them some credit; they were vocal. They took ownership. They collaborated with the coaches. I think we chipped away at it, and today obviously played good enough to win.”

This was undeniably the highlight of Florida’s season. Will they be able to build on this momentum heading into next year and do anything productive with it? Time will tell.
