Clippers Star James Harden Reveals His NBA GOAT

James Harden is something of a polarizing talent. Individually, the former league MVP is undeniably one of the most impactful players of his generation.

On a team basis, Harden has consistently struggled to really prove himself in the playoffs.

That said, because he is an all-time great shooting guard, Harden is uniquely qualified to speak on certain NBA topics with a level of authority.

One of those is who he views as the greatest NBA player of all time.

This week, Harden revealed why he sees Kobe Bryant as his GOAT.

“There was only one person who made me love, I mean fall in love with the game, and that’s Kobe Bryant,” he told HoopsHype.

“Being from LA and being a Lakers fan watching him grow up and win several championships and his passion and love and what he did for the game of basketball, I think the world, you know, feels the same way, but that’s why I started playing basketball.

“The skill set and things that I’ve learned, I kind of picked up on my own, but as far as falling in love with the game, it’s definitely been Kobe.”

A lot of stuff Harden says and does can be a bit divisive among NBA fans. Some love it – others not so much. His opinion on Bryant, though? That is something everyone can get behind.
