Chris Sutton Reacts To Celtic’s Impressive Win At Easter Road
Former Celtic striker turned pundit Chris Sutton was on commentary for the Hoops’ 2-0 win over Hibernian at Easter Road this afternoon.
The Englishman was impressed with what he saw in the first half, but had a message for the Celtic board regarding the transfer market.
Phenomenal first half from Celtic. McGregor’s goal was sensational 👏👏. Hibs slightly better second half but as per patience is required with the new manager David Gray. Another centre forward is required immediately for Celtic mind they can’t keep risking with just Kyogo☘️

Sutton is spot on in pointing out that Celtic are desperate for a new striker to challenge Kyogo Furuhashi up front.
With the Japanese international going down twice during the Game, Celtic were left with only Mikey Johnston to replace him, despite Johnston being a winger.
The Adam Idah saga continues to drag on, with the coming week likely to be pivotal for his future at Norwich.
Celtic are reported to be in advanced talks with the Canaries, and the Celtic board will look to finalise the permanent signing of Idah, a player who proved last season on loan at the Hoops that he is more than just a squad player.
Idah would comPete with Kyogo for the number nine position week in and week out, giving the Hoops striker greater time to rest and recover.
