This will be the second installment in a three-Game series. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Marlins vs Diamondbacks pick.
Arizona Diamondbacks Betting Preview
In their last set the Diamondbacks played the Tampa Bay Rays. Arizona lost all three of those Games 5-4, 6-1 and 8-7. On Monday versus the Marlins, the Diamondbacks were out-hit 12-8 but still got the win 9-6. Starter Brandon Pfaadt left after 5.1 innings and four earned runs.

Over on the Marlins’ side, they took on the New York Mets over the weekend. Miami lost the first two games of that set before a 3-2 win in the finale. On Monday the Marlins scored a couple in the bottom of the ninth but couldn’t dig out of the hole. Adam Oller managed 4.2 innings with five earned.
It’ll be Edward Cabrera in the starter role for the Marlins on Tuesday. This year Cabrera is 2-4 with a 5.76 ERA in 13 starts. Cabrera is 15-18 with a 4.41 ERA in 56 career Games (54 starts).

Miami Marlins vs Arizona Diamondbacks Prediction
I’ll take a stab on the Marlins. Cabrera does need a good bounce-back start, though. In his last outing versus the Phillies, Cabrera took a loss with six earned in 4.0 innings of work. Cabrera was pitching better previous to that though, with 12.0 clean frames across two starts.
On Monday the Marlins had a handful of rough innings on the mound. That said, the offense had a solid outing overall, with everyone getting a hit except for Jake Burger (0-for-5). Cabrera needs a quality outing along with a much better bullpen performance Tuesday.
