Celtic Star Named in WhoScored Team of the Week After All-action Display
Celtic left-back Alex Valle has been named in the latest WhoScored Team of the Week after an all-action performance against Aberdeen on Saturday.
The Spaniard got the nod for the second Game running amidst Greg Taylor’s ongoing absence.
Constantly willing to get forward, Valle had several positive moments with the ball and coped admirably defensively, aside from an almost costly error on the halfway line in the second half.
Despite his somewhat small stature, Valle dealt with numerous aerial balls well, winning the most duels in the match and completing the most dribbles [FotMob].
Alongside the likes of Slobodan Rubezic, Benjamin Kimpioka, and Marley Watkins, Valle was included in WhoScored’s latest Scottish Premiership Team of the Week for the latest round of fixtures as a result of his performance:

With Taylor still on the injury table, Valle will get the nod once again tomorrow evening in Bergamo.
To get a result against Atalanta, Celtic must be on top of their Game and remain defensively resolute.
The Bhoys cannot afford a repeat performance of the Dortmund disaster at the Gewiss Stadium.
Although the Hoops’ points will likely come from elsewhere, Celtic fans want continual European thumpings to become a thing of the past. It remains to be seen, though, whether Brendan Rodgers will take a more pragmatic approach to things tomorrow.
