The South Korean, who joined Celtic 18 months ago for £2.5 million under a five-year contract, has reportedly agreed terms with the Belgian side.

Brendan Rodgers recently acknowledged the growing interest in Oh and admitted that there would be movement before the Hoops jetted off to the States.

Despite his potential and raw talent, Oh has struggled to secure a regular place in the team, managing 47 appearances and scoring 12 goals during his tenure with the Hoops.

The proposed transfer deal is said to be around £4 million, marking a slight profit on the initial investment.

With Oh’s departure, Celtic’s striking options would be notably thin, leaving Kyogo Furuhashi as the sole natural striker in the squad. This situation suggests Celtic may be actively seeking to reinforce their attacking lineup.

A goalkeeper is lined up, with Kasper Schmeichel agreeing to a one-year deal, with an option of another, with Celtic.
