Celtic Confirm Date and Time For First Glasgow Derby of 2024/25
Celtic have given confirmation over some key upcoming fixtures.
The Bhoys return to action this evening in a pre-season friendly against Ayr United, but all eyes are on next month’s unveiling of the league flag at Paradise.
Kilmarnock are the visitors to Parkhead on the opening day of the Scottish Premiership season but after that, a few arduous Games lie in wait for the champions.
Brendan Rodgers takes his team to Easter Road on the second matchday of the campaign, before a last-16 league cup tie is played out.
A week later, the Hoops then Travel to face St. Mirren in Paisley, with the match confirmed for a midday kick-off on Sunday the 25th of August.
The weekend following sees the maiden Glasgow derby of 2024/25 be played out. The champions are the hosts and as expected, the match has been moved to Sunday 1st September. Proceedings begin at 12.30 pm.
Both of the rescheduled matches will be live on Sky Sports as the Hoops look to start the season in style.
