Carefree Kim Kardashian enjoys ‘fun night’ with daughter North at basketball game after brutal Tom Brady roast
Kim Kardashian appeared to be in good spirits while spending time with daughter North West at a WNBA game after being booed during Tom Brady’s Netflix roast.
The “Kardashians” star shared several snaps of her and her eldest daughter having fun watching the Los Angeles Sparks take on the Atlanta Dream on Wednesday night.
Kardashian, 43, posted a sweet picture of her and North, 10, each making a duck face while holding up peace signs in their seats.
“Fun night w my Northie at the @la_sparks @wnba game tonight! 🏀✨,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.
The Skims co-founder even got to take North and a friend to the locker room to meet some of the players and snap pictures with them.
In one Instagram Story, North and the pal smiled alongside Cameron Brink while holding up jerseys that they got.
Kardashian previously worked with Brink — and other WNBA athletes — on a collab for her shapewear brand’s Fits Everybody collection. Skims is also the official underwear partner of the WNBA.
Another Instagram Story showed North and the unidentified friend posing with point guard Lexie Brown.
The mother-daughter duo seemed to have courtside seats, as Kardashian shared a few close-up live snaps of the players during the game.
Kardashian enjoyed the fun evening with North after making headlines for getting booed onstage at “The Roast of Tom Brady.”
She awkwardly shook off the jeers, which have since been edited out of the Netflix special, and proceeded to share a few jokes about Brady’s looks and love life.
Later on, the former NFL player fired off a joke about Kardashian feeling “terrified” to be at the roast because it meant her ex-husband Kanye West was home with their four kids.
Comedian Nikki Glaser, who was praised for her jokes, admitted she was surprised Brady was allowed to joke about the rapper.
“She takes enough of a beating. She’s not on the stage. … I was like, ‘I didn’t even know we could really go there,'” she said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last week.
Meanwhile, fellow comic Andrew Schulz made headlines for referring to Kardashian as a “robot … with no human aspect” while watching her at the roast.
“Even when she was up there, they were kind of booing her. It didn’t make her smile. It didn’t make her sad. It was nothing,” he said on the “Flagrant” podcast last week.
Kardashian has yet to respond to the comments or the negative reaction received, but she did seem to enjoy some of the roast since she messaged Glaser to say she “killed it” and is “so talented.”
