In the Major League Baseball postseason, the initial 12 teams have been reduced to just 4 that have advanced to the American League and National League Championship rounds. The Miami Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays, and Tampa Bay Rays were eliminated in the Wild Card Series, leaving the Houston Astros, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Atlanta Braves to compete for a spot in the World Series.

The Philadelphia Phillies secured a spot in the National League Championship Series (NLCS) by defeating the Atlanta Braves in Game 4 at Citizens Bank Park. With a 3-1 series win, they will face off against the Arizona Diamondbacks in a best-of-seven series.

The American League Championship Series (ALCS) will feature the Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers. At the same time, the National League Championship Series (NLCS) will see the Philadelphia Phillies and the Arizona Diamondbacks. The first team will decide on both series to secure four wins.

The NLCS will begin on Monday, October 16, with the Phillies hosting the first two Games. If necessary, Game 7 will take place on Tuesday, October 24. The ALCS will also be a best-of-seven series, with Game 1 scheduled for Sunday, October 15.

With only four teams remaining in the MLB playoffs, the stakes are high as they comPete for a chance to win the 2023 World Series.
