The Manningcast, hosted by ex-Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning and brother Eli, formerly of the New York Giants, has become a staple of (some) NFL fans’ viewing habits since becoming the alternate live television broadcast to ESPN’s “Monday Night Football since the start of the 2021 season. However, those hoping to watch the Mannings, Bill Belichick and special guests chew over the Week 10 action between the Dolphins and the Rams are to be disappointed.

The reason there’s no Manningcast in Week 10

There will be no Manningcast this Monday (November 11) for a relatively simple reason, which comes down to numbers, and scheduling. Since first airing on ESPN at the start of the 2021 season, the show hasn’t broadcast every single week, with 10 episodes scheduled in its first two seasons, increasing to 11 in 2023 and this year.

There are, of course, 17 Weeks in the regular season and 17 into 11 just doesn’t go. That means the Mannings, the NFL, ESPN and Omaha Productions, the programme’s other production company which is owned by Peyton, have to pick their Games wisely.

Manningcast schedule for remainder of 2024 NFL season

Sadly for fans of the two teams and other interested parties, the Dolphins against the Rams hasn’t made the cut.

Instead, the brothers and Belichick will be back next Monday (November 18) for the Week 11 game between the Texans and the Cowboys.

There will be then be two further regular-season casts in Week 12 (Ravens @ Chargers) and Week 14 (Bengals @ Cowboys). The final Manningcast of the season is due to come in the Wild Card round on January 13.
