With fantasy playoffs looming in the near future, things are getting serious. Week 10 saw anyone with Ja’Marr Chase in their lineup pretty much skate away with a victory. This week should provide some closer calls.

The injuries weren‘t too significant in Week 10 and the bye week in Week 11 won’t be too bad either. Still, you’ll need to pay attention if you do have any players on those teams and make your swaps.

Teams on bye in Week 11:

  • Arizona Cardinals
  • Carolina Panthers
  • New York Giants
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Key Injuries Week 11:

  • QB Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (Shoulder) - Questionable
  • RB Najee Harris, Steelers (Ankle) - Questionable
  • RB Brian Robinson, Commanders (Hamstring) - Questionable
  • RB Aaron Jones, Vikings (Ribs) - Questionable
  • RB Isiah Pacheco, Chiefs (Leg) - IR, but close to returning to practice
  • WR DK Metcalf, Seahawks (Knee) - Questionable
  • WR Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills (Wrist) - Out
  • TE Sam LaPorta, Lions (Shoulder) - Questionable
  • TE Dalton Kincaid, Bills (Knee) - Questionable

Okay, now let’s get into our recommended fantasy starts for NFL Week 11.

NFL Fantasy Football Week 11: recommended starters

Quarterbacks

Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers vs Ravens:

The Ravens defense allowed Joe Burrow 33.72 PPR fantasy points last week as he racked up 428 yards and four touchdowns. That looks good for Wilson and the Steelers offense in Week 11. In their Week 10 win over the CoMMAnders, Wilson had nearly 200 yards for three touchdowns and he‘s averaging almost 19 fantasy points per Game since taking over in Week 7. He should do well against the Ravens defense that’s giving up the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans @ Cowboys:

I think at this point in the Cowboys' season, you could pretty much start any quarterback or any defense against them and do all right. In Stroud‘s case, he‘s not been a fantasy starter as of late. But he should be getting his weapon back in WR Nico Collins this week and the Cowboys defense is allowing 23.18 fantasy points per game to QBs.

Running Backs

Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs @ Bills:

Hunt didn‘t have his best week against the Broncos last week, but in six Games, he’s put up 565 yards and is averaging 16.75 PPR points per Game. He continues to be a focal point of the offense. And he has a favorable matchup against the Bills, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs.

Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts @ Jets

I would expect the Colts to lean on the run game much more against the Jets than they did last week against the Bills. The Jets have given up 460 rushing yards and four touchdowns over the last four games. Taylor had 107 rushing yards in the first half of Sunday’s game before they abandoned the run game. He should see bigger numbers against the Jets.

Wide Receivers

Mike Williams, Pittsburgh Steelers vs Ravens:

The Steelers traded for Williams and in his first outing with the team, he caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from Wilson. He will potentially see more involvement in his second game against the rival Ravens, who are giving up 294.9 passing yards per game.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, New Orleans Saints vs Browns:

Do I expect Valdes-Scantling to have the kind of breakout game he had last week from here on out? Not at all. However, the Saints don’t have a lot of receiving options and this week, he‘s got a good matchup against the disastrous Browns defense.

Tight Ends

Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons @ Broncos:

Pitts demonstrated a bit of a comeback last week although not a super strong one. But given the Broncos defense just allowed 20.40 points to Travis Kelce, his odds look good against their vulnerable defense.

Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers @ Bears

The Packers are back from their rest week and have an easy matchup against the Bears, who are allowing the fourth-most points to tight ends over the last month. The same cannot be said for QBs and WRs, so it may be Kraft’s time to shine.
