Chock is an insurance executive from Wichita Kansas, working in the field for more than 20 years, according to his LinkedIn. Since 2020, he’s been the president of Insurance Services Group, LLC, which is a “full service” insurance agency that offers “Business, personal, Health and safety/HR services,” while specializing in “insurance for family-owned and managed Businesses.”
Chock previously owned his own insurance agency, CIG Insurance, from 2004 to 2020. He has a strong family background in the insurance industry, with both his father and grandfather working in the field. Chock earned his degrees in labor relations and general Business administration from Kansas State University.
Chock Owns a Hefty Real Estate Portfolio
The Golden Bachelorette alum lives in a gorgeous four-bedroom, three-bathroom 3,300-square-foot home in Kansas that sits on a third of an acre of land. The home was purchased for $260,000 but has risen in value to more than $410,000, according to The U.S. Sun.
That’s not the only property that Chock owns! Just half a mile away, Chock owns another six-bedroom, four-bathroom home where his ex-wife appears to live, according to the outlet. The 5,300-square-foot home has also risen in value since its initial purchase. Originally purchased for $400,000, it’s now reportedly worth more than $825,000.
In addition, Chock converted a nearby storage unit into a man cave. The unit, located in the middle of an industrial complex, was purchased for $200,000 and is where Chock hosts gatherings for his friends. The two-story unit has a terrace, full bathroom, wet bar and built-in storage.
Chock also owns a $375,000 lakefront home in Oklahoma. This 1,924-square-foot property features a spacious wooden deck and a jacuzzi with scenic views of the lake. Additionally, Chock’s net worth is boosted by his ownership of several boats.

Chock was married to his ex-wife, Heather Chapple, for 12 years. The couple married in 1998 and separated in 2010, citing incompatibility as the reason for their split, according to documents obtained by Life & Style.
Prior to their divorce, Heather was involved in helping Chock start CIG Insurance in 2003 and was still tied to the Business by 2008. “Heather Chapple was focused on building the Business by selling policies to outdoor recreation companies,” an article in the Business Journals said at the time.
On Chock’s first one-on-one date with Joan at Disneyland, he opened up about his failed marriage. “The marriage lasted 12 years and we just weren’t really a fit,” he admitted. “[She’s a] good person and I wish her the best. [She’s] the mother of my children.”
Following their split, Chock was engaged to Katherine “Kathy” Elizabeth White Goree. She died from brain cancer in January 2022.
