Who is Trey Lance dating? The Cowboys’ backup QB’s girlfriend

Trey Lance was traded from the San Francisco 49ers to be Dak Prescott’s backup quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. This move has sparked interest in the 24-year-old’s personal life as well, including of course, who he’s dating. Lance does have a girlfriend who he’s been with for about three years, Brynn Chandler.

Who is Brynn Chandler?

Trey Lance and Brynn Chandler are quite private about their relationship, but made it public in 2021. Since then, Chandler has been seen supporting him at his games with the Niners and now posts her love for the Cowboys on her social media.

Chandler is from San Diego, California and is now living and working in Los Angeles as an account executive for Flip CX. Chandler graduated from the University of Georgia in 2020 and is an athlete herself, having played volleyball in both high school and college. In fact, she helped lead the Bulldogs to three straight league titles.

She also comes from a family of athletes, two of whom just happen to have been NFL quarterbacks themselves. Her father, Chris Chandler, was a quarterback in the NFL for 17 years, from 1988 to 2004, playing for several teams during his tenure. He was a two-time Pro Bowler and even led the Atlanta Falcons to the Super Bowl in 1998, although they lost to the Denver Broncos.

Chandler’s grandfather on her mother’s side, John Brodie, also happened to be a quarterback in the NFL, for Trey Lance’s former team, the San Francisco 49ers. Like Chandler’s father, Brodie also played in the league for 17 years, from 1957 to 1973, winning the league MVP title in 1970. He is now in the San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame. He also played golf professionally on the Senior PGA Tour for more than a decade.

The women in Chandler’s family are athletes as well. Her mother, Diane Brodie, played collegiate Tennis for the University of Southern California, and her sister, Ryann, played volleyball at UCLA.

Despite living in different cities, Chandler made sure she made it to several of Lance’s games to support him, even if it meant 6 a.m. flights and a 24-hour turnaround.
