Which NFL teams are undefeated after Week 2?

Just two weeks into the 2024 NFL season and we’re already seeing some surprising and completely unexpected results. Four teams who missed the playoffs last season are 2-0 to start this one. Week 2 brought upsets, emerging stars, and unforeseen potential as some teams may already be getting excited for the postseason this early.

Of course, there are some unsurprising results as well - the 2-0 Kansas City Chiefs still look like the same Super Bowl champs from last season, but again...it’s early. And some of the other contenders are off to a slower-than-expected start this season.

NFL teams that are 2-0

Of all the 32 teams, there are nine who remain undefeated after two weeks and some of those are much more surprising than others.

Of those nine teams, the Vikings, Chargers, Saints, and Seahawks didn’t make it to the postseason last year. The Saints, Buccaneers, and Vikings came away with wins over teams against which they were the underdogs in Week 2.

The Saints won their first game against the lowly Panthers, but that didn’t tell us much. A 44-19 road domination against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2, however, showed off an impressive offense. The Buccaneers showed their defense can stop even good offenses when they beat the Lions in Detroit. The Vikings beat a 49ers team that had just dominated the Jets in Week 1.

The Chiefs, Texans, Bills, and Chargers are the less surprising teams on the 2-0 list.

NFL teams that are 0-2

Likewise, there are nine teams who have yet to win a Game this season, and while the majority of them are unsurprising, there are a few on the list who we didn’t expect that from. The Ravens at 0-2 to start the season? I certainly didn’t see that coming. But there’s still a lot of Football left to be played.
