Goodell was quizzed on future plans for overseas Game as part of the 2025 season with the commissioner stating: “We are definitely going to Spain, we announced that,” with the NFL previously stating that a Game would be held at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, home to LaLiga side Real Madrid.

He added, “we expect to return to Mexico City and we expect to return to Brazil. We will certainly be back in the U.K. And we’re also looking at the potential of another Game in the U.K. area - in Dublin (Ireland), possibly,” he said.

“That’s a possibility. And we’ll certainly be back here in Germany. So if that total is eight, that’s what we’re shooting for.”

Goodell previously mentioned said the NFL is working to hold a game in German capital Berlin with the game earmarked for the 80,000 Olympic Stadium which hosted the final of Euro 2024 earlier this year.
