With the semi-final matchup between Minnesota Lynx and Connecticut Sun tied at 2-2, a decisive Game 5 will be needed on Tuesday night in Minneapolis to decide who advances to the final.

Minnesota are looking to reach the WNBA Finals for the first time since 2017 with the Lynx winning their fourth title in a seven-season span in that year.

Meanwhile, the Connecticut Sun are looking to reach the WNBA Finals for the third time in six seasons and will be looking for a happier outcome after recent finals saw the Sun losing to the Washington Mystics in 2019 and the Las Vegas Aces in 2022.

Minnesota coach Cheryl Reeve has been in these clashes before. And watching her team get outscored 49-32 in the second half with a chance to clinch the series left her with a bad taste in her mouth.

“This is how they felt after the last Game,” Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve said of the Sun. “This is how we feel after this Game. That makes for a great Game 5.”
