Watch: Kasper Schmeichel Pulls Off Unbelievable Tekkers Against Kilmarnock
Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel won Man of the Match this afternoon against Kilmarnock, but it wasn’t just his shot-stopping that stole the show.
The Dane’s ability to progress play with the ball at his feet is often praised, but he took this to a whole new level against Kilmarnock.
When pressed by Kilmarnock forward Innes Cameron, Schmeichel was able to flick the ball away from Cameron with an unbelievable skill that most goalkeepers wouldn’t dream of attempting.

Schmeichel is clearly world-class with the ball at his feet.
He is the definition of a modern goalkeeper, able to take the ball in the most pressured situations, something that, over the last decade, has become more common but was almost unimaginable 20 years ago.
An inspired signing, Schmeichel has proven himself, and all credit must go to Brendan Rodgers for being able to bring him to Glasgow.
Having worked together successfully at Leicester City, the Celtic number 1 has worked incredibly hard to emerge from his father’s shadow through his career, and will go down as a great goalkeeper whenever he decides to hang up his gloves, just like his father, with his legacy at Celtic ever increasing.
