Viral Comedian Calls Out Terrible Drivers in Poughkeepsie, NY

An iconic comedian who recently played a show at a Poughkeepsie comedy club took a few jabs at some Hudson Valley drivers. What makes this better, is he was Traveling on one of the area's most controversial (aka hated) places to drive.

This particular spot has been the source of may headaches, and has been discussed at length, well, forever actually, but it was pretty incredible to see an outsider's take on our every day struggles as drivers in Poughkeepsie.

Vic DiBitetto Plays Poughkeepsie Comedy Shows

The Hudson Valley was quite lucky to get a double dose of gotta get the bread and milk comedy last weekend, with two nights of double shows from Vic DiBitetto. No stranger to the Hudson Valley, DiBitetto returned to the area for shows at Laugh It Up Comedy Club in Poughkeepsie on Friday and Saturday, September 13th and 14th.

It seems, though, that while he was in the area, Vic got a taste of something that many of us who Travel Rt. 9 or the 44/55arterial in Poughkeepsie know ALL TOO WELL, the jug-handle.

Vic DiBitetto Rips Rt. 9/Arterial Drivers

In a video posted to his official Instagram account on Monday, September 16th, Vic perfectly narrates what it's like trying to navigate this area of Rt. 9 in Poughkeepsie, where somehow, we always end up behind someone who's never operated a vehicle before, and certainly never Traveled on a road configuration like this.

The video, appropriately titled 'Hole and Ass,' begins with Vic's analysis of 'here's what happens when an idiot doesn't know how to merge and you got the other idiot passing him...'

Now, many don't navigate this area very well, some classifying it as the Hudson Valley's most obnoxious interchange, and there's been so much talk over the years including proposals on how to make this spot better.
