Twitter post sharing OceanGate job ad for new submersible pilot sends internet wild

An OceanGate job listing has sparked a frenzy on the internet after it was shared by an anonymous viral iNFLuencer known for their commentary on “corporate greed”.

The Twitter user claimed the job ad for a new submersible pilot/ marine technician was recently published by the deep-sea exploration company which confirmed that its Titan submersible had catastrophically imploded underwater, killing five people.

OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush was the pilot on the vessel, and one of the five people on board who perished on their journey to visit the sunken Titanic on the ocean floor.

A days-long search for the vessel, which lost communication with its mother ship, ended when debris from the Titan submersible was found 487m from the historic Titanic wreckage.
