As reported by David Ornstein, Everton has submitted the deal sheet to sign Chelsea's striker Armando Broja after the deal with Ipswich Town is off. The Toffees will sign the striker on a loan until the end of the season and will have a $39.4 million buy option.  

DONE: Sterling will be Arsenal's new player

Sterling will become Arsenal's new player for the upcoming season; Chelsea has finally accepted the conditions and the English player will be loaned to the Gunners.

Crystal Palace has officially confirmed the signing of attacker Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal on a permanent deal. Both clubs agreed a $39.4 million transfer fee, the Gunners will have a sell-on clause, and the player has signed a contract with Palace until 2029. 

OFICIAL: Victor Osimhen's deal with Chelsea is off!

Napoli and Chelsea couldn't reach an agreement for the transfer of Victor Osimhen. The Saudi market will be open until 2 September, but if nothing happens within the next three days, the Nigerian striker will stay at Napoli. 

However, if he stays with the Italian club, he will not be part of the first team plans.

Arsenal's 24-year-old player Reiss Nelson has decided to join Premier League side Ipswich Town on a loan until the end of the season. Last formalities are being sorted out to complete the transfer. 

Sancho goes to Chelsea!

After a moment of uncertainty, Manchester United finally gave the green light to Jadon Sancho's departure to Chelsea on a loan deal with an obligation to buy of $32.8 million.

Earlier today, the English winger said "yes" to Chelsea, but the deal was pending for Manchester United's decision. 

Roma looking for a centerback after Djalós deal collapsed

Although Tiago Djaló's deal between Roma and Juventus is off, head coach Daniele de Rossi still wants a center-back for the season. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Italians are pushing to make a last-minute deal with Atlético Madrid to sign Spanish defender Mario Hermoso. 

However, Hermoso already has an agreement with Turkish club Galatasaray.

Auston Trusty joins Celtic on a permanent deal

Celtic has confirmed the signing of American defender Auston Trusty on a five-year-deal. Celtic and Sheffield United agreed on a $5.5 million deal. 

Trusty was a key player for Sheffield United last season, playing 34 games with the English club. 

"We are so pleased to sign Auston and he is a really welcome addition to our squad. He is a quick, strong, athletic defender with great ability and good experience and a player who has done really well to make his way to the USA national squad," said head coach Brendan Rodgers. 

Arsenal looking to sign Raheem Sterling

As reported by David Ornstein, Arsenal is in talks with Chelsea to sign Raheem Sterling on a loan move. 

Despite Sterling's desire to stay at the club at the beginning of the season, Chelsea's head coach, Enzo Maresca, confirmed some weeks ago that the Englishman would not have regular playing time with the club.

Agreement between Napoli and Brighton to sign Gilmour

With the Serie A transfer market in its last hours, Napoli still want to build up their squad to face this 2024/25 season. The Italian club agreed a $14.3 million transfer fee with Brighton to sign the 23-year-old. 

The Scottish player is now undergoing medical tests in London and has already said goodbye to his teammates.

What is happening with Jadon Sancho?

Jadon Sancho's future is sill uncertain. The English player returned to Manchester United after his loan at Borussia Dortmund last season, and played some minutes during the preseason games. 

However, the 24-year-old winger is not in Erik Ten Hag's plans for this season and Chelsea wants to add Sancho to their squad before the market closes. 

Whats is happening?

Chelsea presented two loan offers to Manchester United: one with an obligation and one with an option to buy. What's more, Sancho has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea, and now is up to Manchester United to decide the player's future. 

Crystal Palace is making moves on the deadline day!

Chalobah will not only be the only defender to arrive at Crystal Palace since the club has officially announced the signing of French center-back Maxence Lacroix from Wolfsburg.

The Frenchman has signed a five-year deal with the English club. The transfer fee will be $23 million initially, but due to add-ons, it could rise to $27.5 million.

Chalobah close to leaving Chelsea

As reported by David Ornstein, Crystal Palace has reached and agreement to sign Trevoh Chalobah on loan with no obligation to buy. 

The 25-year-old defender has been with Chelsea since 2015, when he joined the Under-18 squad. Chalobah's departure, along with Lukaku, Gallagher, Maatsen, and Lewis Hall, will help the Blues with their salary cap for the 2024/25 season. 

Chelsea-Osimhen's deal unlikely to be completed

As reported by the BBC, Chelsea's deal to sign Napoli's striker Victor Osimhen is not likely to happen. Despite Chelsea's intentions, the main problem resides in the wages. 

Osimhen has been offered a $852k weekly salary from Saudi Arabia, and Chelsea is far from matching the offer.

Sekou Kone unveiled as new Manchester United's player

Manchester United has finally completed the signing of 18-year-old midfielder, Sekou Kone! 

The Red Devils paid $1.5 million to Malian club Guidars FC. Kone will join Manchester United's academy. 

Fekir will go to the United Arab Emirates

Betis has sold Nabil fekir to Al Jazira in a $7.7 million deal. From the money received, $1 million will go to the French player as Betis owns him an amount from his contract.

Fekir arrived to Betis in 2019, and has played 165 games with the Spanish club. What's more, the 31-year-old player scored 29 goals and provided 29 assists. 

Tah stays at Leverkusen

Despite Barcelona and Bayern Múnich interest to sign Bayer Leverkusen's centerback, Jonathan Tah has announced he is staying at the club. 

"It is true that I examined transfer options but it is now certain that I will complete 10 years at Bayer 04. You can be sure that I am very much looking forward to all the challenges with our team, the coaching staff and you fans this season," said the defender. 

Matt Turner close to sign for Crystal Palace

The USMNT goalkeeper, Matt Turner, is close to joining Crystal Palace on a loan. As revealed by Tom Bogert, the deal will not include an option to buy. 

Danjuma set to become new Girona's player

Girona wants to put up a fight in their first Champions Lague participation. To do so, they want build a solid squad. First, they signed the Colombian youngster Yaser Asprilla and now they have made a last-minute effort for Arnaut Danjuma. 

The 27-year-old player will join Míchel's squad on a loan until the end of the season, with Girona paying an additional $4.9 million fee to Villarreal.

Although there is always the possibility for clubs to make some surprising last-minute deals, it seems that with only 30 minutes to go, Bundesliga squads have been closed. Here are the top five signings made in the German league:

Although Chelsea and Ipswhich Town's deal for Armando Broja collapsed last week, both clubs have re-opened negotiations, and now are in advanced talks. 

The deal between the clubs is still the same: Broja will sign as new Ipswich player on a loan but with an obligation to buy if certain parameters are met.

Let's take a look back at some of the deals that have been done already this summer. Liverpool have refrained from making too many transfers during the first summer under new head coach Arne Slot, but they have secured the services of an exciting Italian international.

Spurs near deal to secure first refusal on USMNT star

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to a deal that would give them the future right to buy Real Betis midfielder Johnny Cardoso. A fixed fee of $33 million has been agreed by the two clubs, which Spurs can trigger in future. 

Spurs have already spent big on English striker Dominic Solanke, one of the Premier League's breakout players last season. The 26-year-old player scored 19 league goals (21 across all competitions) and was the fourth top scorer, along with Watkins and Foden. Solanke decided it was time to join one of the "big six" teams in the League and became a new Tottenham player after the club paid Bournemouth an impressive $71.2 million transfer fee.

Will Ivan Toney be the next star joining the Saudi Pro League?

The Saudi Pro League isn't done. On the final day of the Premier league transfer window Saudi side Al Ahli are closing in on a deal to bring in England international Ivan Toney. The striker has not featured in Brentford's opening PL fixtures amid constant transfer rumours. 

After two intense markets, the teams in Arabia have taken things more calmly this summer. However, that has not stopped new players from arriving in the Saudi Pro League.

The most notable case is French winger Moussa Diaby, who arrived at Al-Ittihad in exchange for $66.4 million from Aston Villa. Another top player who followed Diaby's footsteps was João Cancelo, who arrived at Al-Hilal after the Arab club paid $27.7 million to Manchester City.

Arsenal interest cools on Coman and Sterling

The Gunners have mounted impressive title challenges in each of the past two seasons, but each time they've eventually been muscled out by Manchester City. Attacking reinforcements may help them last the course but Arsenal appear to be leaning away from moves for Raheem Sterling and Kingsley Coman. 

Both players have considerable elite experience but Independent sports writer Miguel Delaney reports that the Gunners view the deals as too difficult given tonight's deadline. 

Chelsea aren't finished in the summer transfer market

Just when we thought Chelsea couldn't sign any more players, there are deadline day deals underway that involve Victor Osimhen, Jadon Sancho and Ivan Toney. The Chelsea hierarchy are thought to be looking to add a recognised No. 9 on deadline day, despite mounting concerns about their ability to satisfy the Premier League's financial rules going forward. 

The Blues have already spent $289.2 million on transfers this summer.

Some of the club's most important signings include Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton ($66.4 million), João Félix from Atlético Madrid ($57.6 million), Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City ($39.2 million), and Filip Jørgensen from Villarreal ($26.5 million).

Mikel Arteta asked about Raheem Sterling move

Could Raheem Sterling really be on his way to Arsenal? The English forward has dropped down the pecking order at Chelsea and is deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Enzo Maresca. 

Arsenal could benefit form attacking reinforcements and Sterling is a proven scorer in the Premier League, despite struggling at Stamford Bridge. A loan move might work out best for all parties for now, with the opportunity to make the move permanent in the future. 

Manchester United reinforcements in the defense

Erik Ten Hag knew that he needed to strengthen the defence for this season. First, the Red Devils paid $16.6 million for fullback Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.

Then two big names arrived at Old Trafford: Centre backs Matthijs de Ligt (Netherlands) and Leny Yoro (France). For the Dutch, the club paid $49.8 million to Bayern, while for the French, it paid $68.7 million to Lille. Unfortunately, the latter suffered a foot injury during the preseason and is expected to be out for two months.

Can Chelsea agree a deal for Victor Osimhen?

Even after a busy summer of transfer activity, all eyes are still on Stamford Bridge for deadline day. Chelsea are believed to be looking to bring in a recognised No. 9 after selling Romelu Lukaku to Napoli. 

In turn, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is a prime target for Chelsea but the London club want assurances about his wage demands before submitting an official offer. Are Chelsea about to add another attacking option in the final hours of the transfer window?

Coman keen to fight for Bayern place

We reported a little earlier than Bayern Munich were happy to let Kingsley Coman leave, with Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal (Neymar's team) one of the interest parties. However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano now says the Frenchman has no plans to move on from the Bavarians, despite their willingness to move him on. 

The 28-year-old has, quite incredibly, won the league in every single season he's played (with PSG, Juventus and Bayern), with the exception of last season. 

Julián Álvarez is Simeone's chosen one at Atleti

Few of us, I think, were expecting this transfer. After winning every possible trophy with Manchester City and Argentina's first team, Julián Álvarez decided it was time for a change of scene. What better place to demonstrate his potential than in a team like Atlético Madrid, which precisely needed a forward. Diego Simeone's side paid $83.1 million to Manchester City, a fantastic deal considering that Alvarez's market value is estimated at $99.7 million. 

Sofyan Amrabat set for Fenerbahce loan

Remember when Sofyan Amrabat was one of the best players at the 2022 World Cup? He didn't quite manage to replicate that with Manchester United last season, and went back to Fiorentina after a loan spell. He's now set for a similar move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce, managed, of course, by former Red Devils boss José Mourinho. 

Marc Guéhi not leaving Crystal Palace for Newcastle

Marc Guéhi was one of the stars of England's run to the 2024 final, which attracted plenty of attention from potential suitors. However, Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has revealed the defender won't be leaving the club in the current transfer window, much to the disappointment of Newcastle, with whom he had been heavily linked. 

Endrick takes the step to Europe with Real Madrid

Real Madrid wanted some competition in their attack. Although the transfer was made some months ago, Brazilian youngster Endrick finally arrived in Madrid in the summer. Los Blancos paid Palmeiras a $52.6 million fee for one of soccer's top prospects. What's more, the 18-year-old striker scored his first goal for Real Madrid on La Liga's matchday two against Valladolid in the Santiago Bernabéu. 

Neto to replace Ramsdale at Arsenal

With Aaron Ramsdale now having moved to Southampton, Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has turned to Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto to replace him as back-up to David Raya. The Brazilian is having a medical at the Emirates for a loan move for the remainder of the season.

After years of rumors and failed transfers, Kylian Mbappé finally fulfilled his dream of becoming a Real Madrid player. Los Blancos can boast about signing one of the best soccer players on a free transfer. The Frenchman scored his first goal as a Real Madrid player in the Uefa Super League game against Atalanta; although he still has to score his first goal in the League, it is just a matter of time before it happens.

They have also agreed a deal with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, although it's believed they will only be able to sign one of the two players due to restrictions on overseas players and 'finances'. Which one will go?

Chelsea (surprise, surprise) are also keen on Osimhen, so the Nigerian could end up at Stamford Bridge if Toney ultimately heads to Saudi.

All the biggest moves in the 2024 summer soccer transfer window

There will no doubt be a few significant names added to this before the day is out. But for now, here are the biggest movers and shakers of the summer 2024 transfer windowso far. Bizarrely, two of the most high-profile players didn't cost their new clubs a single penny in terms of transfer fees. 

Aaron Ramsdale: Arsenal to Bournemouth (confirmed)

Aaron Ramsdale was Arsenal's first-choice goalkeeper a little over 12 months ago. After losing his place to David Raya, he's just signed for Premier League new boys Southampton on a four-year deal. He's already been full of praise for Saints manager Russell Martin, who he says made him feel "eight feet tall" during discussions. He should be handy between the sticks, then. 

Southampton believe they've signed him in time to play against Brentford tomorrow (Saturday), although the Premier League will have the final say. 

Ugarte signs for Manchester United?

Or does he? A number of reports, including from Fabrizio Romano, say Manchester United have confirmed the signing of PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte, although Sky Sports claim terms of the deal are still being finalised. He will inevitably be playing his soccer at Old Trafford this season, although everyone agrees he won't be playing against Liverpool on Sunday. 

Chelsea's Sterling set for Arsenal, or United?

Raheem Sterling is well and truly surplus to requirements at Chelsea, who are reportedly doing everything they can to move him on from Stamford Bridge. Arsenal are being linked with a move for the winger, while he could also be included as part of a potential deal that takes Jadon Sancho to The Blues from Manchester United. Ah, that rumour mill is in full flow!

Chelsea 'close' to Sancho move

Chelsea are "edging closer" to an agreement with Manchester United to sign winger Jadon Sancho, according to Sky Sports News. The British broadcaster says both loan and permanent moves are on the table, although it's likely to depend on The Blues moving players on first, with Raheem Sterling one of the candidates to leave. 

Kingsley Coman: Bayern ready to release

The talk around the whirling marketplace is that Bayern Munich are ready to offload their experienced French winger, Kingsley Coman, with Arsenal and Al-Hilal seen as the front runners for his signature.

We'll be keeping a close eye on developments...

Kepa Arrizabalaga: Chelsea to Bournemouth (confirmed)

If you were wondering what had happened to the world's most expensive goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, then here's what you need to know.

Things didn't go so well for the young Spaniard at Chelsea (he can feel better about that by looking around much of the playing staff at the Bridge over recent years) following his c.$80 million transfer in 2018. But now he can escape and demonstrate his abilities at Bournemouth, on loan.

"I know [coach] Andoni Iraola well, so of course that was a big reason for coming here, he spoke very well about everything here,

"I am so ready to be here and play in front of our fans. Hopefully we can win something and it could be a great year."

Sam Johnstone: Crystal Palace to Wolves (confirmed)

More Premier League intra-dealing as Wolverhampton Wanderers add goalkeeper Sam Johnstone from Crystal Palace. It's a four-year deal, with an extension for a further year available.

Jose Sa is expected to remain as number one choice between the sticks, but squad players also get their own welcome video. Check it out!

Is Federico Chiesa available to play for Liverpool against Manchester United?

No doubt you already saw that Italian winger Federico Chiesa has joined Liverpool. With the huge clash on Sunday against bitter rivals Manchester United, some fans (on both sides of the divide) are keen to know if he may feature at Old Trafford.

We sent Will off to check the rule book about registering players – which gives green light – and also to see what Arne Slot has been saying – much more amber/red-ish.

Neal Maupay: Everton to Marseille (confirmed)

Neal Maupay has made a loan move from Everton to Marseille for the rest of the 2024-25 season, with a commitment to a permanent transfer once the season concludes.

The 28-year-old forward heads to the Ligue 1 side following a stint at Brentford during the 2023-24 season. Maupay leaves Goodison Park after a challenging spell, where he managed only one goal in 32 appearances since joining from Brighton in August 2022.

James Ward-Prowse: West Ham to Forest (pending)

More action for the Hammers but this time a move that sees James Ward-Prowse exit and head north to Nottingham. As reported by David Ornstein, there is an agreement in principle for a season-long loan but no option to buy.

A very decent midfielder who'll be staying in the Premier League.

Carlos Soler: PSG to West Ham (pending)

West Ham is progressing in talks to sign Carlos Soler on loan, with negotiations ongoing with PSG. Soler is said to be eager for the move as personal terms have already been fully agreed upon.

Soler’s departure from the Parisian team will be a relief since he is not part of Luis Enrique's plans. PSG has been active in recent hours to sort out their squad.

As part of the loan deal, the Hammers are reported to have an option to buy for €23 million (c.$25m). He is traveling to London to undergo medical tests.

Big strikers on the verge

Two of the biggest headlines of today could involved Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney.

Both are being heavily linked with Chelsea (a club who are busier than ever offloading players this summer) but also very much in the sights of Al Ahli in the Saudi League.

Here’s the lowdown on when each of the big league wraps up:

Bundesliga: 2 p.m. ET

Ligue 1: 5 p.m. ET

LaLiga, Premier League, & Serie A: 6 p.m. ET

But note that the English top flight has a special twist! Those EPL clubs can still finalise moves up until 8 p.m. ET, as long as a 'deal sheet' has been submitted ahead of the 6 p.m. deadline.
